Thumbnail View in Vista - Turning on/off Thumbnails
In Case you are facing this problem in Vista ie, you can’t View Thumbnails or Pics inside the folders, then Follow the tips given in this Post. Thumb nail View gives us a lot of advantages when there are a lot of Pics inside a folder and you don’t have time to check them individually. There thumbnails makes its easier for you to find the pic you are looking for.
There are 2 ways to get the thumbnails back.
- The first way, you do the following within the folder you meant to view thumbnails in
- Click on Organize > Folder and Search Options - View Screenshot
- Click the View Tab
- Uncheck the “Always show icons, never thumbnails” Option - View Screenshot
- Click Apply, then OK.
- The other option is to:
- Click Start > Contol Panel
- In classic view, click on Folder Options
- Click the View Tab
- Uncheck the “Always show icons, never thumbnails” option
- Click Apply, then OK
